Engage your user community with your digital collections

1378908940714Learn how to enhance your users’ online experience with CONTENTdm in a OCLC web session on October 9.

The library staff at Des Plaines Public Library will discuss the Des Plaines Memory project and how they used CONTENTdm to create personal historic experiences for their users—connecting them to their community’s history. They’ll explain how their configurations engage users around the stories and the items online.

Library staff at the University of Texas at San Antonio will talk about how they configured the user experience with CONTENTdm, such as sub-navigation to make searching more intuitive, a home page design that connects visually with their library’s main website and consistent individual collection landing pages.
